Formerly conjoined twins Smile and see each other for the first time


Formerly conjoined twin sisters Trishna and Krishna are sitting up, sleeping in separate beds, and seeing each other for the first time as they continue their recovery from a massive separation surgery.
The pair are enjoying favourite DVDs and trying new foods as they get used to life apart.

Women worry about their bodies/appearance 252 times a week


A survey of has shown that women are constantly concerned by their appearance and worries about ageing.

One hundred women were asked to carry a clicker in an experiment to measure how many times they felt anxiety about their bodies ageing.
Over a seven day period, the women aged 35 to 69 had to use the clicker every time they worried about their face, body, or appearance in general.
On average, the women surveyed had negative thoughts 36 times a day.

Mother expecting her 14th child vows: 'I'll keep having babies until I have twins'

A mother expecting her 14th child has vowed to keep having children until she has twins.
Sara Foss, 39, already picks up £50,000 in benefits every year.
She said: 'All I've ever wanted is twins or triplets. It's my biggest wish, and I'm going to keep trying until I do it.
'It would be fantastic. In fact, I won't stop trying until I've done it. I love having babies - it's the most wonderful thing in the world.'
Miss Foss, of Derby, was 16 when she had her first baby, Patrick, in 1986.
But, traumatised by giving birth, she vowed not to have any more children. It was a decade before she changed her mind and had a second son, Stephen.
She has almost averaged one birth a year since.

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty weds


Shilpa Shetty, the Bollywood actress who became famous in Britain for winning Celebrity Big Brother, has married the London-based businessman Raj Kundra in Khandala, Western India.


The 34-year-old tied the knot at a hill resort near Mumbai, with friends, family and showbusiness colleagues attending the Hindu service and all-night celebrations.

The Indian actress became known outside of her home country when she won the reality TV show in 2007 after being subjected to allegedly racial comments from Jade Goody, a fellow contestant.

Intel: Chips in brains will control computers by 2020

Brain waves will replace keyboard and mouse, dial phones and change TV channels.

By the year 2020, you won't need a keyboard and mouse to control your computer, say Intel Corp. researchers. Instead, users will open documents and surf the Web using nothing more than their brain waves.

Scientists at Intel's research lab in Pittsburgh are working to find ways to read and harness human brain waves so they can be used to operate computers, television sets and cell phones. The brain waves would be harnessed with Intel-developed sensors implanted in people's brains.
The scientists say the plan is not a scene from a sci-fi movie -- Big Brother won't be planting chips in your brain against your will. Researchers expect that consumers will want the freedom they will gain by using the implant.
